By going first in Taiwan's national universities, this
institute is characterized as follow:
(1) An integration of
communications, technology and management. (2) A full training on media planning, thinking,
analysis and creativity. (3) A balance between theory and practice such as
through on-sight media practice.
The focus of teaching comprises three pillars:
(1) Management of communications industry
including the mass media,
advertising and other communications sectors.
(2) Marketing and public relations (as both are crucial for modern
organizations). (3) Communications technology and communications policy (as there is
a need for the government to adapt its policy to a new
environment as well as establish an
advantageous environment for
